Sad to see AAP, Sidhu quarrelling for power: Congress

New Delhi : With the match over former BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu joining the AAP in Punjab put on hold, the Congress on Thursday said it is disappointing to see them quarreling over distribution of political power instead of making endeavors for the state’s development. Congress spokesperson Sandeep Dikshit said that he is aware of the negotiations presently going on between the AAP and Sidhu, but added he is stunned to see both of them so ridden with greed of power.

“Some negotiation is going on I know that, but the saddening point here is that it would have been better if the discussion was about the betterment of Punjab… But in real all this fuss is being created for selfish motives and greed for power. And this is bad on the part of AAP and as well as Mr. Sidhu,” said Dikshit. According to reports, Sidhu initially had said that he will not contest in the upcoming Punjab Assembly polls and just wanted an AAP ticket for his wife. As per reports, Sidhu has now made a U-turn and is demanding tickets for both himself and his wife Navjot Kaur in the upcoming assembly elections.
