A demand was raised in the Rajya Sabha today seeking information about the Army personnel hailing from the Sikh community, who were killed during the 1984 riots.
Raising the demand during a special mention, SAD member Balwinder Singh said that defence personnel belonging to the Sikh community were attacked even in bus stands and railway stations during the riots.
He also sought the information on compensation to the affected families of the defence personnel.
