Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar opened a Cancer Treatment and Research Centre at Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Doctor Nageswar Reddy, Pratik Sarma and a group of doctors set up the Gastro Intestinal and Liver Foundation for Research and Treatment center for Cancer (GIST) here. Speaking after inaugurating it, Sachin said if there was anything that should be cherished most, it was the life given by a doctor.
Former cricketer VVS Lakshman who also took part in the programme, released a book on Gastro Intestinal Cancer.
