Visakhapatnam, April 19: The Congress MP, Mr Sabbam Hari, has predicted that there was likelihood of the country facing mid-term polls after the Kadapa by-elections.
Talking to the media here on Tuesday, Mr Hari exuded confidence that Mr Jagan and his mother, Ms Vijayamma, would get elected from the Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly seats respectively. He expected drastic changes in the State politics after the by-polls.
Replying to questions, he said that he also wished to snap his ties with the Congress and join the YSR Congress of Jagan. He said that he hoped to play a key role in the State politics through that party. He has announced that he would soon be joining that party.
It may be mentioned here Mr Hari though continuing in Congress, has been supporting Jagan ever since he came out of Congress.
