Commissioner Minority Welfare Mr. Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal (IPS) welcomed Mr. Jalaluddin Akber (IFS) on the post of Special Officer Waqf Board and assured that the new special officer will enjoy his complete cooperation in connection with the protection and development of Waqf properties. He claimed that during the past 6 months Waqf Board revenue was increased by Rs. 6 crore.
He clarified that as Special Official he did not acted against any mutawalli or institution on the basis of any personal grudges or regional or political affiliation. He claimed that he took action for seeking Allah’s pleasure and due to his sense of accountability to Allah.
He never succumbed to any pressure and was always ready to face any situation. He refuted the allegations that he targeted a particular religious faith.
