Hyderabad, July 5: Selling vegetables at Rythu bazaars is relatively an older concept while plan of mobile Rythu bazaars was enacted in 2002 but was abandoned after its failure. But now once again 14 mobile rythu bazars are given permission to sell vegetables at various colonies in the city.
PS Pradyumna, chief executive officer of rythu bazars told “We have given permission to mobile Rythu bazars (MRBs) to supply vegetables at colonies where rythu bazars are not available, at the same time farmers get the opportunity of self employment”.
In some areas like RK Puram, Kukatpally, Mehdipatnam, MRBs are already present but there is a need for MRBs in areas like Ramanathapur, Vidyanagar, Nizampet, Basheerbagh, Himayathnagar, MLA Quarters, Nallakunta, Banjara Hills and Secunderabad.
