Moscow, November 28: Russian investigators have confirmed that the derailment of a passenger train which killed dozens of people was caused by a “terrorist attack”, the Interfax news agency reported.
“We are indeed talking about a terrorist attack,” Vladimir Markin, spokesman for Russia’s federal investigative committee, was quoted as saying by Interfax today.
Investigators have found “elements of an explosive device” at the site of a Russian train disaster that killed dozens of people, the country’s federal investigative committee says.
“At the site of the accident of the Nevsky Express … the investigating team from the investigative committee of Russian prosecutors found and removed elements of an explosive device,” the committee said in a statement today.
