Rupee declines by four paise at 51.74 against US Dollar

Mumbai, December 08: The Rupee slipped for the third day today as
it opened at 51.74, easing by four paise following persistent
demand for greenback from importers, dealers at the Inter-bank
Foreign Exchange said.

The domestic unit registered intra day high and low at 51.93 and
51.74 against the dollar with a major oscillation, dealers said.
The Rupee is down following negative trend in equity market
and Dollar’s gain against other world currencies, dealers said.
Yesterdsay, it had slided by 29 paise to 51.70 against the Dollar.
