(Siasat News)A felicitation function was held to honor the Director of Iqra High School, Koratle, Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahim for his 20 years of dedicated service in running Urdu Medium Iqra High School in Koratla.
The function was presided over by the President of the District Urdu Journalists’ Association of Karimnagar, Mr. Syed Mohiuddin and correspondent of Siasat Urdu Daily.
Mr. Abdus Saleem Farooqui, Vice President of the Association conducts the meeting. In his speech, he said that Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahim had established Iqra Urdu Medium High School in Koratla 20 years back. Due to the untiring efforts of the teachers of this school, it has attained a unique position in the Urdu Medium schools of the district. The students who passed S.S.C. with distinction from this school earlier are getting higher education in Hyderabad and at other places.
Mr. Syed Mohiuddin congratulated Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahim on completing 20 years of his school. He told that during the present time, it is not an easy job to run an Urdu Medium School successfully for two decades and also to maintain its educational standard.
He further told that the treasure of Islamic literature, which is available in Urdu, is not found in any other Indian language. Iqra High School has maintained its educational standard for which it is worth congratulating.
Mr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar, former Chairman, Koratla Municipality, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Qayyum former Ward Councilor and Mr. Ahmed Ali, retired Headmaster addressed the gathering.
Mr. Syed Mohiuddin and Mr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar garlanded Mr. Mohammed Abdur Rahim and presented a shawl to him.
