Hyderabad: Nephew of Karnataka Minister for Municipal Administration Eshwara Bhimanna Khandre and two other boys, who ran away from their home in Bidar, on August 31 were found in Hyderabad. The minister arrived at Hyderabad on Friday, to escort them back. The class V students aged between 8 and 10 years, reportedly left home without informing their families with an intention to get away from their families. They boarded a bus to the city and arrived here early on September 1.
Laksh, 9, Karan, 8, and Vineeth, 10 were found by the Sultan Bazaar police in the wee hours of Friday. As they could not speak Telugu, they aroused suspicion. One of the missing boys, Laksh, is Minister Khandre’s nephew.
The boys reportedly left home because they were scolded. Hyderabad police spotted the trio at a Ganesh pandal near Andhra Bank Sultan Bazar at around 4 am.
Mr. Khandre took custody of the children. He also praised the police for the good job done by them.
