Lakshma Reddy slams Revanth for remarks

Hyderabad: Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy today criticized that some “thieves and useless fellows” were polluting politics for selfish ends.

Inaugurating an additional building of Police Station at Balanagar, the minister lashed out at Congress leader A Revanth Reddy for his recent remarks against him. “Some people with vested interests have joined politics and polluting the good environment”, he fumed. “Though they carry out misinformation campaigning, the people should ignore them and participate in developmental activities, he said.

The TRS government was trying to make the State free from crimes, he said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was making efforts to ensure reduction in crime rate and prevail law and order, the minister said. Stating that Telangana is No 1 in maintenance of law and order,he said the police system was strengthened under the leadership of the Chief Minster. About one lakh CC Cameras were put up in Hyderabad for surveillance, he said.

Lakshma Reddy earlier inspected the works of a local 30-bed hospital and laid foundation for Rs 14.5 crore CC road works at Badepally. Attending a book release program, the minister said the State government was taking steps to encourage the writers and literary people in a big way.
