Ruling party in Telangana would have responsibility to protect cultural heritage

If the political party which would come to power in the new state Telangana shows sincerity in resolving problems of marginalized communities then we can hope for justice to Telangana people particularly, Muslim minority, SC, ST, BC classes. Mrs. Jasveen Jeerat, social activist and chairman Soul an NGO told this. She said now hurting the sentiments of marginalized groups in the name of reservations should be stopped. Sentiments of marginalized groups especially Muslims have always been toyed with in the name of reservations and aids, which is becoming a cause for developing inferiority complex in Muslim community.

Mrs. Jeerat also stressed the need to restore the old communal harmony for formation of a Golden Telangana. She claimed that not a single incident of communal violence occurred in the history of Telangana during 400-year-long Asif Jahi and Qutub Shahi rule.

She asserted that Naya Qila, Golconda fort, Makkah Masjid, Charminar and similar heritage structures are being ruined whose protection would be the responsibility of the party whichever comes to power.
