The Ruby Channel News Editor Sabina Tabassum has apologized to the viewers if their religious sentiments were hurt because of the documentary film which was telecast on the channel on the midnight of June 25 in the city.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Tabassum said that when its viewers insisted to telecast the documentary on “Prophet Yousuf (A.S)”, the Channel aired documentary, which was made in Iran. She said that the documentary was already telecast in several Islamic countries, including Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and so on. It is also available on Internet and CDs and DVDs are available in the market as there was no ban on the documentary either by the government or any other constitutional body in the country. She said that with this documentary film, the channel aimed at imparting Islamic teachings to the viewers and telecast it with that aim.
