Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali hoped that this year Hajj pilgrims of Telangana would be able to stay in Hyderabadi Rubat. He informed that discussions were held to end the deadlock between Rubat Caretaker and Nizam Awqaf Committee. He told that contacting the Counsel General of Jeddah and Central Hajj Committee, it is being tried to seek permission for Rubat accommodation.
Deputy Chief Minister has sent a letter to Central Hajj Committee in this connection. He told that proposal is to draw lots under the supervision of government for Rubat accommodation and the parties have agreed to this. He further told that Caretaker Rubat and Awqaf Committee are inviting applications and drawing of lots will be held in Hyderabad. Indian Counsel General in Jeddah and Rubat Caretaker are being invited to attend the draw. He told that Rubat Caretaker has agreed to provide accommodation facility to 600 pilgrims.
