RTE will benefit two lakh Telangana students

If RTE Act is implemented fully, more than two lakh poor students will be benefited and they will admission in reputed private schools. If education department implements this Act scrupulously, more than 25000 students will get admissions in the city in private schools. Govt. of India had formulated RTE Act in 2009 with a promise to implement it in 5 years. It is therefore, essential that all the provisions of RTE Act should be implemented from the academic year 2015-16. As per this Act, reputed private management schools have to admit 25% students free but hardly any private schools has implemented this Act.

If any school refuses admission to poor students, they can approach High Court for the proper implementation of Section 12(1) (C) of this Act. Department of Education should take immediate steps for the implementation of this Act properly.
