RTC geared up to handle additional rush: MD

Hyderabad, July 14: With the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee calling for a 12-hour Rail Roko in Telangana region, the State Road Transport Corporation has geared up to meet the huge rush of passengers without causing any inconvenience to them.

In a statement, RTC Managing Director V Prasad Rao said that buses have been arranged at all railway stations to shift the passengers to the respective destinations.

Mr Prasad Rao said the RTC took this decision of deploying special services as part of commuter-friendly attitude.

He appealed to commuters to utilise the opportunity and use the special services to reach their destinations. “With this decision, there is no need for commuters to postpone their trips,” he pointed out.
