Hyderabad, December 16: The Telangana Mazdoor Union has shown its presence in the Cooperative society elections of the RTC on Thursday when the union wrested more than 25 seats in the depots spread across the Telangana region.
In warangal, Karimnagar, Medak and Nalgonda the newly floated trade union has clinched the major chunk of seats and it is leading in almost 60 per cent seats of the contested areas.
In Warangal, the Parakal, Thorrur, Mahabubabad and Warangal depot seats were grabbed by the TMU. NMU suffered a serious set back in the polls, while the Employees union with the aid of TMU has gained the upper hand in the elections.
The present election has almost come as a morale booster for the TMU and EU.
