RTC assured good health to Drivers: A K Khan

APSRTC Vice Chairmen and Managing Director Abdul Khayyum Khan assured that the corporation would avail the services of Physicians who could examine the health of drivers and prescribe them to stay fit and healthy.

Moreover, he said that the corporation would also organize Yoga and Sports program to keep the drivers active. Address after inaugurating “Traffic Safety Week” program at RTC Bhavan at Musheerabad, A K Khan said that the initiatives were being taken by the Corporation for the fact healthy drivers could provide a better service to the passengers travelling in 22,683 buses across the State.

APSRTC chairman M Satyanarayana advised the drivers to work with responsibility so that the lives of the passengers plying in the RTC busses could be protected.

The RTC MD has given awards seven senior drivers for their accident-free driving in their long service. A total of seven drivers from each of seven zones of APSRTC were given awards at this occasion.
