New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday praised the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for persisting successfully in their work despite the many ‘challenges’ they have had to face.
“The way the RSS has taken the ‘Sangathan’ forward is inspirational and staying strong despite all the challenges they have faced. India waits for Mohan Bhagwat ji’s message on Dussehra and he successfully delivered that today,” BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told ANI.
Reacting on the opposition by the Congress over the live telecast of Bhagwat’s address, Hussain expressed his displeasure saying the hostility was uncalled foe as the message broadcasted was a good one.
“Private channels are doing live coverage of it then why should Doordarshan not do it? Besides, when people talk filth and abuse openly that gets broadcasted, so why not someone saying something good,” Hussain added.
RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat had earlier today praised the country’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said India’s image had reached great heights on a global scale as the world expected ‘India to guide it towards a great future’.
Making his annual ‘Vijayadashami’ speech, Bhagwat said that the primary agenda now is about how to make India a leading nation in the world as ‘expectations have risen’ since Prime Minister Modi’s government came into power. (ANI)
