RSS launches door-to-door campaign in Gujarat

Rajkot, January 24: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today launched a door-to-door campaign in Gujarat which it said was aimed at countering the “false” propaganda against the Nagpur-headquartered organisation.

Some people are trying to defame the Sangh by linking it to anti-national activities and terrorism. The campaign will highlight the Sangh’s pro-national activities and expose its opponents “false” claims, RSS region leader Jayanti Bhadeshiya said here.

During the fortnight-long campaign, the RSS activists will meet industrialists, doctors, advocates, professors and hold area-wise group meetings in the state, he said.

It will also create awareness among the people against the Centre’s “minority appeasement policy”, militancy in Jammu and Kashmir and the Sangh’s desire to construct a Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Bhadeshiya added.
