Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH), is one of the leading Islamic organizations in India, has stated that the Indian subcontinent is yet again ‘on the verge of partition’ because of the BJP and the RSS leaders.
“The BJP and RSS leaders are making such (communal) statements to create terror in the mind of the Muslim community, but the PM is silent as he is under pressure from the RSS. We are observing the Sangh for the last 70 years and know its true agenda. They cannot mislead us by their occasional sympathetic statements,” JUH president Arshad Madani told the media persons in Deoband, Saharanpur, on Monday.
“The RSS is harmful not only for the Muslim community, but also for the Hindus. The country was divided in the past because of the same communal forces. We fear that India will once again be divided if such forces are not stopped from their design to communalise the entire country,” he added.
Madani demanded that PM Modi should show a bold front against those who make hateful statements to terrorise any community.
“The Muslims have been massacred in the country during RSS-induced riots. Modi must take action against them to prove that he wants the growth of all communities,” Madani said.
“The silence of Modi on the issue of the demand of the right-wing organisations to put a ban on conversion and populationrelated issues is a proof that there is a difference between what he says and what he ideologically believes,” the JUH president added.
