BAMCEF national president Waman Mesharam challenges Brahmins to prove that schedule cast, schedule tribe, OBC, Marathas are Hindus. He is addressing First State level Convention at Nagpur, Maharashtra organised by Buddhist International Network.
Waman asks how SCs, STs, OBCs and Marathas say themselves to be Hindus as they didn’t even look at Vedas let alone reading it. He reveals that the word ‘Hindu’ is not found in any of the religious books of Hindus like Vedas, Shruti, Puranas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Geeta, Manusmriti. He says Hindu is not a Sanskrit word nor Hindi word, but is a word of Persian language. The word was used only after Muslims came to India.
Waman Mesharam also cites an incident where even RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat couldn’t prove that they are Hindus based on religion.
