New Delhi, September 04: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Friday held a meeting with NDA Chairperson and senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee and is understood to have discussed the current political situation with the ailing leader.
“RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat met Vajpayee today afternoon. He enquired about his health and discussed the current political situation in the country,” Vajpayee’s secretary N C Jhingta said.
The meeting, lasting about 30 minutes, comes in the wake of a series of deliberations between the RSS and the BJP top brass last week on internal squabbles and leadership issues within the party.
