Government has issued Rs. 7,97,47,000 towards 4th quarter of the Minority Welfare Department budget for the year 2012-13. This amount will be spent for schemes continued under various minority institutions. Two GOs were issued on Thursday in this connection. Principal Secretary Minority welfare Rani Kumudini issued GO RT 36 and released Rs. 7,97,47000 for various schemes of minority institutions. The institutions include Urdu Academy, Daeratul Maarif and minority Finance Corporation.
Earlier Rs. 8,20,93000 were released through GO RT 923 towards planned budget.
The respective institutions have been directed to collect the amount and immediately start implementing the schemes.
