Ahmedabad, August 04: Over Rs 84 lakh cash was stolen bysome unknown persons after breaking into a closed house in theOdhav area of the city, police said today.
The incident came to light when Sunil Patel, owner ofhouse number one in Vaibhav Park society today found that thedoors of his house were broken, they said.
According to police, the theft could have occurredanytime in the last three days as the house was locked andnobody had visited it.
Patel, who is into construction business and lives inanother house in Naroda area with his mother, in his complaintsaid that Rs 84.5 lakh cash was missing from his house.
A case has been registered in this regard and furtherinvestigation is on, police said.
