Rs 50,000 loans of farmers to be waived off soon in UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav while discussing policies aimed at improving the lot of the farmers and the poor in the state announced that the loans of the farmers, who had mortgaged their lands and taken loan up to Rs 50,000, would be waived off.

The CM also announced that the Junior High School at Behta village in Bakshi Ka Talaab (BKT)in Lucknow would be upgraded into a Senior Higher Secondary School, a railway overbridge would be built over the Malhaur crossing and the BKT would be beautified.

Chief Minister also announced an aid of Rs six crore to develop BKT Vidhan Sabha and Rs one crore for Chandra Bhanu Gupta Agriculture University ,an inter college at Sairpur was also announced by Mr Yadav.

He said loan up to Rs 50,000 would be waived off of the farmers very soon. Mr Yadav was addressing a public rally at BKT Inter College campus here today. Earlier, he unveiled the statue of late Mr Shyam Manohar Mishra, the founder of the college and inaugurated the newly built Brijbhushan auditorium and the Janeshwar Mishra public library. He also garlanded a picture of the late Janeshwar Mishra and later laid the foundation stone of a girl’s college campus at the BKT inter College. UNI
