(Siasat News) Mr. Mohammed Ahmedullah, Minister for Minorities Welfare sanctioned Rs. 50 lakh for providing water coolers, water filters and generators in Makka Masjid and Shahi Masjid of Public Garden. This file was received on 28th July. The next day (i.e. 29th July) was a holiday being Sunday. On Monday (29th July) Mr. Ahmedullah first approved this file soon after reaching his chamber in Secretariat. Wakf Board had assessed the needs of these Mosques and the file was sent to Finance Dept. which gave its nod provided that the expenditure is met out of the funds earmarked for 2011-2012. Wakf Board opined that it is not possible to meet this expenditure from last year’s budget. The file was again sent to Finance Dept. which accepted the proposal. The Minister sanctioned this expenditure and informed C.M. and Finance Minister.
