Rs 5.25 cr for Alair RUB: CM

Railway department has agreed to open a railway gate at Alair in Nalgonda district from Sept 20 with intervention of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR agreed to bear the expenses for rail under bridge and agreed release Rs 5.25 cr. With this the railways gave green signal to open the Alair gate.

Government Whip, G Sunitha and others today met KCR at camp office and received an order issued to this extent. The railway has closed the gate for two months to construct a new railway over bridge causing much inconvenience to the rail passengers to Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Warangal and other places. When the whip appealed, KCR agreed to release the funds and spoke to the railway officials to construct a rail under bridge until which the Alair gate will be opened. (NSS)
