Rs. 40 crore for Islamic Center and other grants for Muslims – CM announced

Hyderabad: CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR sanctioned Rs. 40 crore of the construction of Islamic Center and Convention hall at kondapur. He has also written a letter to PM for allowing the candidates to write NEET exam in Urdu. Rs. 21 crore has also been sanctioned for the construction of Anees-ul-Ghura orphanage. Makkha Masjid gets Rs. 8.48 crore for its renovation. Vacant posts of Urdu teachers in Govt. schools would be filled up through special DSC.

CM held a review meeting after 3 days of Assembly session. It was attended by Mr. A.K. Khan, Advisor, minority affairs, Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Minority Affairs and other officials. He instructed the officials to prepare special design for the building of Islamic Center in Manikonda. He announced that he would lay foundation stone for the Islamic Center and convention hall on wakf land in Manikonda. Imams and Mauzins of masjid will now get Rs. 1500 instead of Rs. 1000. Rs. 10 cr. have also been sanctioned for the establishment of degree college at Falknuma. 17 minority Junior colleges and four degree colleges which are functioning under self-financing scheme will now get Govt. grants. Students studying in these colleges will not be charged any fees.
