Lucknow, January 11: Three unidentified men robbed an estimated Rs 3 lakhs from the Union Bank’s ATM after cracking its password in Gudamba area of the state capital late last night.
UP Director General of Police (law and order) Brijlal today said the criminals barged into the bank’s ATM at Behta bazaar and fled with the money after desiphering the bank officer’s code. The cops have arrested Suresh Kumar, the security guard outside the ATM, for inquiry. During interrogation, Suresh said three people came by car and committed the crime.
Police were yet to make any arrest in the connection.
An investigation was on.
