Ludhiana, April 05: Armed assailants today looted Rs 2.87 lakh from a bank at Kohara-Machiwara road, about 20 km from here.
Eight youths, armed with country-made pistols and sharp edged weapons, targeted the State Bank of India’s branch at Kohara-Machiwara road this evening, police said.
Three bank employees, including cashier, were seriously injured in the attack, they said.
Police have registered a case under various sections of the IPC.
