State government has sanctioned Rs 27 lakh to Urdu Academy Andhra Pradesh for the publication of Intermediate 1st year Urdu medium Science and Maths syllabus books. Urdu Academy will get the publication work done by Telugu Academy. Books of Intermediate 1st year Mathematics A1, Mathematics B1, Chemistry 1, Physics 1, Zoology 1 and Botany will be published. The books published will be for the academic year 2012-13. Secretary Minority Welfare Dana Kishore has issued GO RT 326 in this connection.
GO stated that Director/Secretary Urdu Academy Dr. S A Shukoor has made representation with the government saying that the syllabus books of intermediate first year have not been published till now although more than one month has passed since the academic year has started.
