Rs 2,400 cr Nuclear Plant at Rajasthan: NFC Chief

National Fuel Complex (NFC) Chairman Dr N Saibaba today said that they have excelled in their endeavors during 2014-15 fiscal.
Addressing a press conference here, Dr Saibaba said that NFC, a subsidiary of Department of Atomic Energy, decided to set up a new nuclear plant at Kota in Rajasthan State. The project cost is estimated at Rs 2,400 cr he said. He also stated that entire world is looking at India and evincing keen interest on technology being used by NFC. Established in Hyderabad in 1970, the NFC has shown a tremendous increase of 47 per cent more productivity during 2014-15, he asserted. Since we are making optimal use of cost effective and efficient technology in the atomic energy department the world is looking at us, he claimed. The NFC has surpassed its own targets and shown better performance this time with collective efforts by adopting full level automation policies, he added. (NSS)
