State government has released Rs. 23.3 lakh for Urdu Academy towards 4th quarter of the budget for financial year 2012-13. Principal Secretary Minority Welfare Rani Kumudini issued GO RT 39 in this connection. As per the orders complete budget has been issued towards 4th quarter under unplanned fund. Urdu Academy is the only minority institution which has been issued complete funds under unplanned budget.
Director /secretary Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor met officials of finance department and completed the formalities. However the issuance of this amount is at risk since the treasury has been frozen.
