Rs 2000 per day for killing ? ARMY ROLE ?

Jammu.June 10 :The ARMY has sought the presence of three persons arrested by the police in connection with the ‘ fake’ encounter in Jammu & Kashmir’s Machil at its court of inquiry.

The army on Wednesday filed an application before the chief judicial magistrate, Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and requested it to arrange the presence of former special police officer ( SPO) Bashir Ahmad Lone, his accomplice Abdul Hamid Bhat and territorial army jawan Shah Abbas.

Last month, the Jammu and the Kashmir Police had arrested the three on charges of kidnapping and conspiring to murder Shahzad Khan, Riyaz Ahmad Lone and Mohammad Shafi of Nadihal village of Baramulla.

The victims were promised Rs 2,000 a day for working as army porters, but were allegedly shot and passed off as slain militants.
