Rs 2 lakh reward on Ludhiana bank robbery info

Ludhiana: In a move to catch the accused, city police have announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh for providing information regarding the bank robbers who robbed Rs 15 lakh from Punjab National Bank at Kochar Market.

Harmesh Chawla, Manger of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch, has stated in his complaint that four unidentified persons entered the bank and made them hostage at gunpoint. They fired a gunshot and robbed Rs 15 lakh from the bank. Police Commissioner Jatinder Singh Aulakh said “The person, who will inform about the robbers, will be rewarded with Rs 2 lakh cash. The identity of the person will not be disclosed.”

“We are trying hard to identify the robbers. We have obtained footage of CCTV cameras installed inside the bank. To motivate the public for helping the police, we have announced a cash prize. The police will also release the sketches of the robbers,” he added.
