Hyderabad: On Friday night, 612.7-gram gold worth Rs. 18 lakh was seized from two passengers who came from Jeddah.
They had hidden gold bars in the pockets of their undergarments.
According to the report published in Hans India, three pieces of 24 karat gold were seized from two passengers of different flights.
It is also reported that they had crossed green channel of the International Arrival Hall to avoid Customs Duty.
It may be mentioned that during the past ten days, 3.4 kg gold was seized from different passengers.
