Rs 12.5 lakh looted at gun point in Jhajjar

Jhajjar, April 18: Three unidentified armed youth today looted cash worth Rs 12.5 lakh at gun point from two employees of a petrol pump on the Badli-Jhajjar road here.

The incident took place this afternoon when Surajmal and Om Prakash, the staff members of Nirmal Filing Station, were going to Jhajjar city for depositing the cash amount to State Bank of Patiala, from Dariyapur village, on a motor bike.

Om Prakash, who was the riding pillion, carried the bag containing the cash.

As they reached near Krishi Vigyan Kendra here, three masked youths on a motor-bike forced them to stop the bike.

One of the youths allegedly snatched the bag from Om Prakash.

Then, the trio fled from the spot towards Jhajjar.

Surajmal immediately informed the petrol pump owner about the incident.
