National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a cash reward on the heads of 12 wanted activists of Indian Mujahideen. For each one a sum of Rs. 10 lakh has been fixed. According to the details, in Syed Maqbool’s crime case number Re-06/2012/NIA/DLI, a non-bailable warrant was issued against them. Mr. Syed Maqbool and a few youths from Pune were arrested in connection with illegal activities.
It is said that Syed Maqbool is an activist of Indian Mujahideen. Druing interrogation, he revealed the names of a few more individuals.
According to the reports of NIA, Indian Mujahideen is a terrorist organization. One who furnishes information about 12 wanted persons of this organization will be given a cash award of Rs. 10 lakh for each person identified.
In the list of wanted terrorists the names are: K. Ahmed (Karnataka) Siddi Bappa alias Yaseen Bhatkal, Mohammed Tahseen Akhtar alias Monu (Samasthipur, Bihar), Mohammed Riyaz (Bhatkal, Karnataka), Mohammed Iqbal Bhatkal Chowdhary, Mohsin Ismail (Maharashtra) Amer Raza Khan, (West Bengal), Dr. Shahnawaz (Azamgarh, UP), Asadullah Akhtar alias Haddi alieas Daniel, Aariz Khan alias Junaid, Mohammed Sajid alias Bada Sajid, Mohammed Khalid and Mirza Shadaab Baig.
Any information about these individuals could be passed on to Superintendent of Police, Special Investigation Team (SIT) on phone or email. The identity of the informant would be kept secret.
