Rs 12.63 cr for Isnapur road works: Harish

Hyderabad: Patancheru segment will be developed as Hyderabad city with all facilities and infrastructure, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said. He laid foundation for a four lane road expansion works worth Rs 12.63 cr at Isnapur Junction and promised to complete it in six months. The past governments failed to develop this segment and now it will get all facilities he said. He said that about 60 to 70 people died in accidents at this junction due to accidents, and steps being taken to develop the road at the earliest. Traffic problems are avoided by constructing a vegetable market by spending Rs 5 cr at 15 acres worth Rs 50 cr and steps will be taken to overcome water logging at Gandi Mysamma temple in two months. MP Prabhakar Reddy, MLA Mahipal Reddy put efforts to stall collection of toll tax locally. He said that Rs 46 cr allocated for four lane way from Pasha Mylaram to ORR and will sanction Rs 15 cr to develop Rayasamudram and Sakicheruvu enabling walking tracks for elders, play ground for children and to celebrate Bbonalu festival by women.

Stating that he will talk to Municipal minister KT Rama Rao to give Rs 20 cr each for newly formed Bollaram, Ameenpur and Tellapur municipalities Harish said that 30000 units of double bedroom houses will be built in the segment. Tenders were completed for construction of four lane road on Sanga Reddy – Nanded – Akola 140 km stretch and completion of which will develop Patancheruvu, Andol and Narayankhed segments.(NSS)
