As part of Mission Kakatiya second phase works, State Government today gave administrative sanctions for restoration of 342 lakes under minor irrigation. The government in the orders issued hereon Wednesday also offered Rs 104.60 cr towards the completion of lakes restoration in the districts. According to information, 132 lakes will be restored spending Rs 3378.97 lakhs and 74 lakes using Rs 1815.34 lakhs in Mahabubnagar district, 42 lakes using Rs 1248.19 lakhs and 74 lakes spending Rs 1815.34 lakhs in Medak district and 15 lakes spending Rs 1185.34 lakhs in Nalgonda district.
