In a significant development, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced some sops to Backward Classes in the State. He sanctioned Rs 102.80 crore for the BCs towards loans with subsidy, according to informed sources. The Chief Minister also signed a related file that will benefit more than 12,000 BCs in Telangana. KCR has reportedly directed the officials concerned to disburse the loans among the eligible Backward Class people in the State. Through the subsidy loans 12,218 BCs will be benefited, it is said.
BC Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna has expressed happiness on the funds announced by the Chief Minister. “We will soon distribute subsidy loans to beneficiaries of 12 BC Federations in the State”, the minister said. Ramanna also extended thanks to the Chief Minister. (NSS)
