Rs 10 cr sanctioned for traffic improvement

Hyderabad, January 19: Under the 100-day action plan to improve civic amenities in Hyderabad, the state government has sanctioned Rs 10 crore from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) funds to install and maintain effective traffic signaling system.

The government had launched the 100-day agenda to improve improve sanitation, roads, water supply, power and traffic in the city. In response, CV Anand, additional commissioner (Traffic) requested `25 crore to carry out measures to improve traffic flow. The government has now given the green light to the proposal.
