Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today assured to spend Rs 1 crore to construct a separate community building for Sikh community in the State capital city.
Participating in Guru Nanak Jayanthi celebrations organized by Sikh community at Exhibition Grounds here on Thursday, the Chief Minister said Hyderabad is known for a unique conglomeration of all religions. The city will be developed into an international destination by taking necessary steps to ensure safety and security of all faiths.
Extending greetings to the gathering, KCR said they would extend “Kalyan Lakshmi” scheme to the Sikh community too. The Chief Minister said the Sikhs are known for self-confidence and bravery. (NSS)
