RRB paper leak: Four more held

Hyderabad, June 21: Four more persons, including some railway employees, were picked up by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe into their role in the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examination paper leakage scam unearthed by the premier investigation agency recently. The RRB Mumbai chairman, S M Sharma, however, is yet to be arrested as the CBI is waiting for the Centre’s nod.

According to sources, those picked up for questioning include a woman working in the Railways in Raipur, senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Raipur, G Sethi and another ADRM rank official, Sanjay, also from Raipur.

“They are being questioned for their possible involvement in the scam,” a source said adding that CBI sleuths have also conducted searches on their residences.

Meanwhile, four special teams were formed to track down the other accused involved in the scam.

“The teams would be sent to various cities from where the racket operated and they are likely to nab more agents and railway employees involved in the scam,” a CBI official said.

The CBI officials, however, denied any fresh arrests in the case.

“They are suspects in the case and they are being questioned,” a senior official said.
