The Ranga Reddy district will have 30 more new courts soon, according to informed sources. Where there are already 50 courts in the district, the judicial administration is making arrangements to set up 30 new courts in view of the growing number of pending civil and criminal cases.
According to sources, three new courts would be set up in district courts complex at LB Nagar. Similarly, arrangements were on to set up five courts in Medchal, four in Ibrahimpatnam, five in Kukatpally, one in Hayatnagar, two in Rajendranagar, two in Malkajgiri, three in Vikarabad, two in Tandur, one in Parigi and one court in Chevella.
The existing judges and magistrates would be given additional charge of the proposed new courts. The judicial officers are likely hold the responsibility of the new courts till appointments of new judges and magistrates are made. It is learnt that arrangements were being made to set up 14th and 15th additional and sessions judges courts on the premises of the LB Nagar court complex. Besides, one additional senior civil court would also be set up. A junior civil court will be set up at Maheshwaram, it is learnt. (NSS)
