Telangana State Minister for IT Kalvakuntla Taraka Ramarao on Monday announced that the Ranga Reddy district would be transformed into IT hub soon. The minister extensively toured the district on Monday.
Speaking to mediapersons later, KTR said every eligible person in the State would be granted pension in spite of huge financial burden on the State exchequer. Stating that Food Security Cards would be given to all eligible persons by the end of this month, the minister said the government has raised the rice quota to the beneficiaries. He also assured that there would be no dilution of welfare schemes under any circumstances.
The IT minister said a degree college would be set up in Shankarpalli in the district soon. He also assured to take the issue of Shankarpalli power station to the notice of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He also made it clear that the Chevella Assembly constituency would be developed into a magnificent city. (NSS)
