Republican Party of India State president Dr R S Ratnakar here on Tuesday announced party candidates for the Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in the State.
While announcing party candidates for the ensuing Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, Dr Ratnakar said the RPI was established for achievement of ideals of Father of Constitution B R Ambedkar and they were not sparing any efforts towards that end. He said Telangana Malala JAC chairman B. Deepak Kumar will be RPI candidate for Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency and its vice-president Paladugu Anil Kumar party candidate for Khairatabad Assembly constituency.
He also announced that Variganti Shivaji will contest for Secunderabad Assembly seat, B. Jangaiah from Rajendranagar Assembly constituency, A Anil Babu from Serilingampalli Assembly segment and Pallikonda Sunitha from Gudivada Assembly constituency in Krishna district. He also said he would shortly announce candidates for 16 Lok Sabha and 110 Assembly seats.
RPI leaders Anil Kumar, B. Deepak Kumar, Neelam Padma Rao, V. Krishnamurthy and others were present. (NSS)
