Mumbai, June 28: A constable attached with the Railway Police Force (RPF) on Sunday shot dead another RPF constable at suburban Nirmal Nagar, police said.
RPF constable Shivram Sharma shot dead his colleague Udyan Singh with his service rifle at their barrack in Nirmal Nagar near Bandra, they said.
“Sharma has been arrested and investigations are on to ascertain the motive behind the incident,” deputy commissioner of police Nisar Tamboli said.
Singh was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival, police said.
