“The Royals” creator Mark suspended for sexual misconduct

Los Angeles: Lionsgate productions has suspended Mark Schwann from his E! drama “The Royals” following allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
In a statement issued by the Production said: “E!, Universal Cable Productions and Lionsgate Television take sexual harassment allegations very seriously, investigate them thoroughly and independently, and take appropriate action.”
It said, “Lionsgate has suspended Mark Schwahn from ‘The Royals’ as we continue our investigation.”
The show “The Royals” created by Schwahn has finished its production of fourth season in September and is set to premiere in March.
18 women who worked had previously worked on Schwahn’s show, “One Tree Hill” has come forward to accuse Schwahn of sexual harassment.
Lionsgate Television and Universal Cable Productions are producing the show “The Royals” a fiction of the British Royal family.
The shows actress Alexandra Park has also issued a statement stating she had experienced similar harassment and misconduct from Schwahn as that being alleged by the team of “One Tree Hill”.
In her statement on Twitter on Wednesday, she said, “I have a responsibility as someone who was working under Mark Schwahn on ‘The Royals’ to acknowledge these claims.”
“I am devastated to admit to myself, to my colleagues, and to this industry that I too, have been exposed to this reprehensible behavior.”
